Information Literacy Toolkit

Information Literacy is the process of becoming literate with information. It means learning what makes good information different from bad information, why you can or can't trust a website, and where you should go to find correct facts. It's also learning HOW to search- what do you need to put into the search bar to get the best results? 

Alongside a partner, I created 9 information literacy tutorial videos for Highline College's various cultural cohorts. These videos were created after interviews with both faculty members and students, putting control into what they learn back into their hands. Students may now use our videos to become information literate citizens on their own time, with resources that have specifically been designed for them.
